Schedules are always a challenge, but I'd love to join an in-person Sangha. Zoom is magic, but there is something very special about hearts meeting in the same physical space. And, I wonder if the benefit of pre-emoting is about the content itself or broader capacity building to cycle through grief more efficiently?
Love this. My mom tried to pre-emote my high school graduation by playing pomp and circumstance (the graduation song) on repeat. Every. Single. Day. It didn't work -- she cried anyway. And what's wrong with that? I'm grateful that I get to experience these things and feel these big emotions. It's what makes life a life! Thank you for sharing this, Cecily ❤️
